4. I can't race, can I get a refund?
a. No refunds, no exceptions. You may not transfer it to another athlete. We do have a deferment policy. You can defer your entry to the next year's race. You will be required to pay a $55 transfer fee at the time of your deferment request. You must request a deferral by June 1st 2013. No deferrals will be processed beyond this date.
5. Do I need a photo I.D. to pick up my packet
a. Yes
6. I know someone who cannot race, can I use their number?
a. NO !!!!! You will be banned from participation at all USAT sanctioned events.
7. Do I need a USAT license to participate?
a. Yes. All individuals and relay team members must furnish proof of current USAT membership or you will be required to purchase a one-day USAT license Below is a breakdown of all membership fees for 2012:Adult Annual Membership - $45
Adult One-day Membership - $12
Youth (age 17 and under) Annual Membership - $15
Youth (age 17 and under) One-day Membership - $10
8. Can I have someone else pick up my packet for me?
a. No. You must pick up your own packet or you will not be allowed to race.
9. When is bike Check in?
a. Bike Check in will be held race morning. To enter transition you must have your bike number already attached and have your race bib with you
10.What time does transition open on race morning??
a. 5:30 a.m.
11.What time will transition re-open to allow athletes to collect their bikes and belongings?
a. At 10:30 a.m., we will gradually allow athletes back into transition in small numbers. We do reserve the right to keep transition closed until the last cyclist comes in. Book your travel arrangements accordingly. We will not change this policy to accommodate flights, hotel check out, etc.**** If allowed into transition early, and you interfere with a competitor still racing, you will may be DQ'd.
12.Can I change my race division?
a. Once registered, you may change from age group to Clydesdale/Athena.
13.My registration information is wrong, what can I do?
a. You can click here to change your registration information, if the athlete is under 18 please e-mail us in order to have your registration information corrected.
14.Where do I pick up my timing chip?
a. Chip pick up will be part of the athlete check in process at the expo on Saturday rather than race morning.
15.What can I do if I lost my chip or left it in the hotel room?
a. Option 1: If left in the hotel, go back and get it. Option 2: Spare chips will be located at the swim start.
16.Are recumbent bikes allowed?
a. No
17.What time do the awards start?
a. 11:00 AM
18.If I was unable to stay for awards, can I have it mailed to me?
a. Yes. You must send a check for $12.00 payable to:
